Although Custom Interior Woodworks was founded in 2002, it has a much longer history. At the young age of 5, Bob Walton was already helping Dad with his furniture manufacturing business. In those early days, he learned how to make small parts for the curio cabinets and became responsible for making all wooden display rifles for the gun cabinets. Growing up in the factory environment, Bob eventually worked all positions in the manufacturing process. By that time, Walton Mfg. had almost 100 employees and produced a variety of furniture. When he completed his education, Bob worked in the factory full time, managing the final assembly and shipping departments for products sent to dealers nationwide.
After many years in the factory, Bob decided to begin work in the more creative business of kitchen remodels. This led him to attain his Contractors license and found his own company in 2002. With a lifetime of experience in woodworking, his creations have the appeal of fine furniture rather than mere cabinets. He strives for perfection in his designs and his craftsmanship providing a beautiful and functional product that exceeds his customer's expectations.
In the past 8 years, Bob has worked with homeowners, designers, and building contractors to design and build kitchens, offices, media centers and anything wood related for his customers. He has made an excellent reputation for himself and takes pride in his 100% satisfaction rate.
